Sorry no news here lately. Haven’t been to the movies and have not had any shoots.
Rogue Clothing has also been delayed seeing as our screenprinter totally flaked out on us. Brandon and I have ordered the supplies and in a couple of weeks will have everything worked out and hopefully been gettint the shirts listed on the site. Will definitely let you know when that drops.
That’s all for now. I’m going to the movies this weekend, I will have news then.

Happy St. Patty’s Day everyone!

I have to admit despite the hype, the film is pretty good. It’s very innovative and unique. However I still stick strong to the fact that they must have used the high contrast just to make some of the guys look more ripped…. I also didn’t care for how all the Spartans died at the end, personally I felt they gave up and didn’t really put up a fight, but that’s just me. Xerces (sp?) was great. He could not have been more homosexual. I also didn’t care for the fact that at the end he missed and only Xerces’ rings got nicked off. Overall, it does have a pretty good soundtrack and was much more creative in its cinematography and art direction then most films out today.
Black Snake Moan
I thought this was a comedy. I mean a girl chained to a guys radiator. That’s like the farthest thing I can think of from drama. However despite the misconception, of which i think I am the only one to make, it was pretty interesting. The storyline was by far one of the most weird things I have seen to date. Samuel Jackson does play the blues rather well and I think the film was really Sammy’s way of launching his music career! ha ha! Justin Timberlake was not bad either. He really is not all that bad of an actor, he must be getting lessons and whatnot. Christina Ricci was great and very admirable for taking on such an intense and exposing role. I don’t really know what the point of the film was though, maybe crazy people should marry each other so things get balanced out?

The Number 23
This film was good. I admit, once Carrey starts reading the book the film went a whole other place than I expected it to go. I must say Jim Carrey looks great with tattoos. Anyway, the film could only be classified as like a psychological thriller/mystery/drama/sort of love story/mind f*ck. That is one of the few films I have seen lately that I felt like I got my money’s worth. I saw a review the other day on the Today Show I think it was, saying that this was horrible. I would definitely disagree, it takes to to so many places that sometimes you know where it is going, but most of the time it twists and goes somewhere different.
Music and Lyrics
This film was alright for a chick flick. It had all thr right ingredients Hugh Grant as the pop has-been from the band POP!, the ever loveable Drew Barrymore as his fill in plant waterer and the need to come up with the new single for Cora (the movie’s Shakira). There were some pretty funny parts and some originality but I still feel like this film was weird. The mini Shakira girl was comepletely off to me. I dunno how to explain it but I was just weirded out by her. I can’t get the phrase “I’ve got Shakira breathing down my neck!” and ” I’ll show you the roof, it’s upstairs” out of my head. There were a lot of parts with like singing spots which kind of made me a little uncomfortable because of how long they were. Overall it was a pretty good chick filck. I mean it’s a chick flick.
On Dvd: A Good Year
This movie came totally out of left field for me. The cover made me think it was going to be like a mix between French Kiss and Under the Tuscan Sun. Which it kind of was, as I was pleasantly surprised. Russell Crowe is great in this, not being a huge fan of him, he did impress me. This film just had a lot of heart. Also being a sort of chick flick, it wasn’t cheesy like most of the ones out today. There was much more depth to the characters and some great filmmaking as well. I loved this film!
That’s it for today!
