Resident Evil 3 : Extinction

Is it just me or have movies been getting shorter again? Anyway I did not even realize the ending was going to happen and was so frustrated because it did not seem like a lot happened. There was some cool camerawork and some cool fight scenes but this was just alright. However it was definitely better than the 2nd one.  I really loved the part when the zombie things were reverting back to their knowledge stages and still looked all creepy but “innocent” because that was the freakiest thing ever! Some of the dialogue especially by Ali Larter’s character was god awful! This is just another one of those movies where you don’t expect great things but just something entertaining and that’s what it was. It was good, I wanted more but I still feel like something was missing.

Shoot ‘em Up

This is by far a sort of guilty pleasure in that the story line and dialogue are very cheesy, although I must admit I did enjoy it. The lighting and camera work was great. Clive Owen was very bad ass in this due to the high body count and ability to continue killing the thugs sent while he was having sex…Impressive. The acting was as good as it could have been given the plot and dialogue. I enjoyed it, but it was nothing to write home about.
