In the Valley of Elah

I had no clue what this was about going into it. The only reason I went to see it was to see my boyfriend, which i did get to see but other than that i did not really care for this movie. The story was very slow and there seemed to be a lot of extra footage of things shown that weren’t really necessary. Seeing as this was still being shot back in like february of this year it seems that they did quite a rush job in editing. I was also dissappointed by the fact that they made albuquerque look even worse than it really is.  This film was just really disturbing and definitely a downer. It makes you think but it also has you reaching for your phone to see how much longer til you can leave. I didn’t care for it, but it just was not my kind of film.
