Then we found that it didn't even play. You had to 'vote' on what films were to play and the ones with the most votes would be presented. Needless to say we were both PISSED OFF!!!! Their web site is poorly put together, the schedule didn't come out 'til late this week. Even publicity for the 'festival' was late in advertising. I ran into a director from Quebec who said that, thankfully, his film played. So I hope your's got to be presented. The awards is tonite and I asked one of the volunteers who was judging and he said that there was a 'panel' of judges. He didn't say what cridentials they held in order to be selected as judges. I don't think I'll be the only one complaining here....we'll see. This is a first-time event for Washougal.
