The books were utterly awesome and the movie was great as well. The books still were way better than the movie but still, I liked that they made a movie that kept the integrity of the book. I’ve seen it 3 times already and my boyfriend is sick of going. But I would definitly advise you read the books first - it will make the film that much more enjoyable.
