2 Dollar Beer

I got to do some extra work thanks to Susie Balaban for 2 Dollar Beer a few weeks ago and I forgot to write something about it. I don’t know how the show will be because I did not see too much, but I did get to meet Mike Binder - I don’t know if you know this but he created Mind of the Married Man. I LOVE THAT SHOW! So Great! (Still waiting for the 2nd season to get released on dvd). I played a bowling alley bar patron. Look for me in the pilot!!!

Photoshoots

Looking to do some new photoshoots.

$100 for a 1 hour photoshoot. Get CD with all the photos as well as a minimum of at least 3 touched up photos of your choosing, possibly more. We can shoot as many looks as you would like in that time frame. I do not have a studio so all photos will be outside. Please take this into consideration when deciding on looks.

Additional examples of my work can be found at http://photobucket.com/jerasky

Contact me if interested. I am in the Hollywood Area.

Monsters VS Aliens Review

We went to see this last night (not in 3D, I get a headache every time we see a 3D one). You could tell where they really did the 3D even without having the glasses on but it didn’t really seem like we missed much by watching it regularly. Seth Rogen’s B.O.B character was very funny of course and I was delight to find out that Rainn Wilson was the Evil Octopus, you could tell by the voice, if you are obsessed with The Office of course… It was a nice little premise and some of Dreamworks animation has really come a long way. The girl’s mom’s hair was quite impressive because it looked like not every single hair was in place, quite fascinating. Also the Hamburger of which I’m sure you all know what I am talking about almost looked real, amazing. Thumbs up! Go see it.

Duplicity Movie Review

I went into this not knowing much about it, but I was interested by the trailer. This film was definitely a little weird, but I really liked it. With the twist at the end though its really only a one time watch because you’ll never be surprised like the first time. I thought the writing was great and the secrecy the whole time was interesting because it kept me involved in trying to figure out what was going on. I really liked the scenes with Owen and Roberts together because it was cool to see why they acted the way they did. Very interesting. I’d recommend it!

Paul Blart Mall Cop

I just have to mention this because I thought it was so weird, and I don’t really have much to say about this but this is the thing that has been bugging me - It seems at about the halfway point they just had Amy Adams stop talking. Was it like she was all I don’t really want to do to much, I set up the story but then I’m done?! It’s just so weird. I don’t get it and I just had to see if anyone else noticed that she stopped talking halfway through too….

Russell Brand on Comedy Central

If you get a chance, download the Russell Brand comedy special on Comedy Central. This guy is great. He’s quite a sight, but very intelligent. I don’t want to give away too much but you’ll probably laugh the whole way through, especially with the “Death Threats” and Mila Kunis’s boyfriend “Mac”. Absolutely entertaining.

Watchmen Review

So we sucked it up and went and saw the daunting 3 hour film. I will admit the beginning intro sequence with the moving photos were really cool and very comic book-ie. I was pretty interested for the first 45 minutes and then it kind of just drug on forever. The ending to was pretty much oh well that was a wast of time. Had it not been comic book characters would it have been as “good” as everyone said it was? Probably not.  There was defintely a lot of impressive elements and then there were some that looked very cheap. I wasn’t too impressed with Dr. Manhattan, he doesnt do anything, He blinks that is the extent of his facial expressions. For a man who is able to do anything, he did not do too much. I’d wait for it on dvd so you can eat dinner in between and feel like you’ve watched 2 long films instead of one extremely long film.
