Management Movie Review

Going into this I was like okay its classified as comedy not drama. Then we got there and it was more of how i expected it to be more dramedy than comedy. Don’t get me wrong I really liked this film, the funny parts were in fact really funny, there just weren’t enough of them! The film overall starts with loner Steve Zahn who lives with his folks running their motel when Jennifer Aniston’s character comes in for a stay. From there Zahn tries to woo her with cheap and old wine and champagne and manages to get Aniston to let him cop a feel. Completely bizarre, but totally hilarious. From there on he continues to try to “love” her after she leaves the motel.

This was a nice little quirky comedy. I liked it a lot.

All the great teen movies…

…have vanished! Seriously I may not be a teenager any longer but gone are the days of great teen films that EVERYONE has to see such as the American Pies or Road Trips. Even the 80’s had all of the John Hughes films and Porky’s. Seriously, Where have they gone and why? I’ve been out of work for the past week so I’ve been re-watching all of my old movies since I have so much spare time. Anways, these movies are still awesome and hilarious. Where are the so called “coming of age” films for today’s teens? I mean I know we have Twilight, but even with the angst its not quite a pushing the boundaries kind of film. Theres a ridiculous amount of those “—- Movie” films “Date movie”, “Disaster movie”. All of them F_cking suck and are poorly made. Where are all the awkward sex films that was relate-able to anyone. We need to stop re-making films (albeit the new Star Trek was awesome) but where are all the new original films. Come on, the industry is just getting lazy…
