Apology

for a previous post that has been deleted. I’m very sorry for any harm or unhappiness I caused. I was simply venting and should not have been so specific about anything. I hope you accept my apology and we can both move on from this.

MOON movie review

We saw this last night. The trailer was quite enticing so that’s what made me decide to say yes to checking it out. The trailer is a little deceiving. I created a whole other idea of what I thought this film was about. But is was very well written, unique and creative. And with only on main actor, very able to keep my attention. I’d say go check this out as it’s probably very low on everyone’s radar, but should be seen as it is a very well constructed film.

Taking of Pelham Movie Review

The music in this was fantastic!

Other than that all I have to say is it was a lot of great build up for a really crappy ending.

The Proposal Movie Review

I went into this and got exactly what I was expecting - a cute romantic comedy.

If you’ve read my reviews you know I don’t like to give the synopsis of the film - you can read that anywhere - I just write what interested me or what stuck out to me. Enjoy!

I especially thought the part where “oscar” from the office is doing his strip tease was absolutely hilarious!

I watched an interview with Sandra and Ryan and how she felt she was really worried about her body - but I must say she looked amazing. You wouldn’t really guess she is actually 12 years older than him. Bravo!

Anyways there is not much to write - this was really cute, funny and good overall.

The Hangover Movie Review

I saw this last night - It’s F*cking amazing! Of course the trailer was hilarious but as we started to watch it I was like oh man they gave so much away - boy was I wrong. I can’t even say anything else because I don’t want to ruin for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
GO SEE THIS FILM.
The Hangover is amazingly well written and constructed and totally f*ckin hilarious!

Up movie review

I was quite dissappointed with this - i LOVE PIXAR - absolutely and entirely love it, but this fell a bit short for me. I think its Pixar’s ties with Disney - this movie was so sad and not quite so adventurous as it seemed it would be.

I found it quite depressing and almost like saying the guy didn’t even know his own wife because he didn’t realize she was living her adventures with him.

I did really like the birds - they were great colors and the imagery of the house on the falls.

This is one year I don’t think that Pixar will be winning any academy awards…

AWAY WE GO review

I got to see this for free tonight! yay! Typical independent film. Not to say this was the same as everything else, just the long shots and lack of music you typically get from the independent films.

This was good, very strange, but good. I don’t want to give too much away but basically they go searching for a place they should live and raise their baby.

The funniest part by far was when the little boy talked about smothering the baby. I laughed so hard, completely inappropriately, much to the dismay of the viewers next to me, but I had to. It came outta nowhere and was awesome! Not that I condone smothering babies… this is getting awkward.

John Krasanski was great as well as Maya Rudolph. I must say her hair looked amazing the whole film!

Dane Cook: Isolated Incident @ Staples Center

My boyfriend and I were lucky enough to grab some $30 Nosebleed tickets to this show. I don’t know about you but I LOVE Dane Cook, I think he is hilarious, but this show was a little lacking.

What was quite impressive was that Dane’s the first comedian to ever headline at the Staples center so mad props to him.

One of his headliners - Robert Kelly totally had such a hilarious bit before Dane, that it kind of left him hanging in the wind a bit. Kelly made me tear up in laughter but sadly this time Dane did not. Don’t get me wrong I liked the whole show but I think Kelly totally stole it.

The isolated incident was also quite disturbing, but quite funny. Never date a chick that frequents the use of the term “Raw Dog” :) I felt like Dane kept trying to set up some jokes and then never cycled them back around for a super punch like he used to do, but maybe he’s just changed some going through what he has.

I bought a bootleg shirt after cuz it was only $5 and the merch in the staples center was a ridonkulous $35 so I feel like I won that way. ha ha

Keep up the Comedy Dane, can’t wait to hear what’s next. _~||~ SUFI!
