I just got done reading all of the books and now I can’t wait to see the film. I think its gonna be awesome! I love the books and would advise anyone to read them. Right now I’m trying to convince my boyfriend to do so, but he does not seem too willing. His loss!I’ve got tickets to a midnight showing tomorrow night - see you there!

You all better go out and vote AND do a little research before you make the big decision there are more people running than just Obama and Mccain. There is even a woman running - if you want a woman - screw Palin who is just being used to get Mccain votes and take a look at Cythia Ann Mckinney’s ideas on the issues, or Ralph Nader who have been running for years and still trying or even Charles O Baldwin or Robert L Barr Jr. Do some reasearch as there are actually 6 People running for president and not just the 2 you have seen on TV.
I already filled out my absentee ballot and mailed it in.

I don’t really know how the Coen Brothers keep getting commissioned to make these like really old people films. This looked like it would have some pretty good comedy but most of it fell pretty flat. Brad Pitt and Frances Mcdormand were the best parts of this film and with Pitt’s sudden death, the movie dragged on after. I really did not care for the ending because it was all too “American”. The attitude that if it does not matter to you then who gives a fuck? We went with my boyfriends former teachers and it was quite funny because they did not know what the triangle pillow was for… hilarious.

I really enjoyed this movie. The cast was great, the drunk girl and her gum were the perfect pair, absolutely disgusting and hilarious. Michael Cera and Kat Dennings were great together, a very awkard, but comedic coupling. The soundtrack was good too. When I walked outta the theater I was like man I wanna watch that again. Go watch it. It’s Awesome, even for all of us who feel a little weird watching teen movies despite the fact we are in our 20’s….

Batman:The Dark Knight
Well, we went and saw the midnight screening of this. It was really good. Heath Ledger was an excellent Joker, very very creepy and funny and just captured the character perfectly. It was a little lengty however, there seemed to be A LOT of talking and a lot of overexplaining of things - especially the “hero”. I liked it. Go see it, it’ll probably be the biggest movie of the summer.
Hancock
I thought this was going to be way different than it was. It seemed like it was going to be funny throughout, and although it was, it was way more serious and dramatic than I had anticipated. I did really like it though. I really enjoyed the storyline between Will Smith and Charlize Theron’s character because it pretty much came out of nowhere and was just very well written. I enjoyed it a lot.

WALL E
I was not too sure about this going in, because it was a “kid’s movie” but as we were watching it I just kept thinking - this is so not a kid’s movie and all these kids in here must be pretty bored, because there was no singing, stupid jokes or just weird random things going on that normally happen in today’s kids’ films. It was actually almost like an adult film that just happened to be animated. I really love the social commentary on everyone becoming fat and ungratful because it was done in such a way that could really hit people, but not in some way so as for them to take offense. I also love the love story between Wall E and Eva because it was so genuine and amazing that robots could have so much emotion. I would also like to note that I am glad the roach didn’t die, every time it got rain over i freaked out, but it was all good. I also love that I got a free watch for going to see it, I’m going to sport it for some time. This is a must see for EVERYONE!
WANTED
I’ll admit, from the trailer I thought this looked pretty bad ass, but my boyfriend was all the comic was alright and it’s probably going to suck…. so I said nothing. We went and saw it and it was just as bad ass as I thought it would be! I thoroughly enjoyed this, the story seemed to hold a little thick although some things did not really make sense but I enjoyed it nonetheless. It was good - go see it!

I loved the fantastical film within this film but like Pan’s labyrinth I found myself not quite so interested in the main story and really just wanting to see more of the fantasy. The colors and landscapes were just amazing and had the whole film been like that it probalby would have been one of my top favorite films. I loved it, but there were things of course I would have liked to have seen done differently. Go see it for yourself!
